Default new member here with an 05 Vp civic

Just started to get more info on my car and how to make it perform better. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I already have an SRI on it and thinking about a cat back exhuast soon. Can't wait to learn more.

Welcome.

Your Civic has a D17a1 engine. It's not the greatest engine to modify for speed or power. Unless you want to start replacing internals or talking swaps, the most you can do is an intake (which you already have) and bigger exhaust (which you already have planned).

Awesome well sooner or later I plan on doing some swaps etc etc. Possibly a VTEC if i can manage it. Not sure on whats available when it comes to that engine. Once the payments are done on it is when Ill be starting the bulk of the work.

Pretty much your only option is to go K-Series.

Different series engine from that generation of Civic. You have a D17A1. We would recommend K20A2 or similar.
