Hey folks, I just purchased a 1997 Civic EX. It has some upgrades, intake, headers, cat-back, wheels, and suspension etc. It also hase some tenzo seats that are red and not really my style. My 1st question is what year range will carry the same parts? If I wanted to pick up some stock seats what years could I look for? Same thing with the door panels and headliner (they have been custom covered and are a little much for my taste) Also the seller has just replaced the motor with these stats: B16a2 bottom from a 2000 si, B18ci head full Onmi, B18ci transmission. I have always been a domestic guy until now, I primarily purchased the car for the gas mileage because I commute 70 miles a day. I am not a newbie to the car world, but most definately to this car. Any help is greatly appreciated, I know how helpful these boards are and I will be full of questions, so please be patient. I will use the search button after this post, I promise! thanks

found out about the motor, but the omni head and the tranny info is eluding me. The car also has a stage 3 clutch which seems a little much for me, but what are the differences?

clean EK, yes I am from AL and may be interested in trading seats plus cash. The headliner and door panels are custom covered and will be going too if interested. B-Rice I paid 3400 for the car, the motor has 80k on it and the car has 133k. I'll get some pics up later this evening.

somebody correct me if i am wrong but 96-98 i believe share all the same parts, 99-00 also use some of the same

96-00 are pretty much the same, except 99-00 changed the front end, tail lights , center bezel and dash harness

 

what about the interrior? The interrior that is in the car now is a little wow for me, I am getting too old for it. I want to replace it with the stock interrior. Will I be ok all the way to 2000 or do I need to stick to 96-98? thanks
