Default Not New, just back

Hey Guys and Gals,
(after a long hiatus I'm back, though you may not have missed me, thats ok)

I am new to preludes (though by no means new to honda). I've owned civics since I was 16 and at 20 built a 92 hatch from the ground up. Just when it was nearing completion (had a few parts in the garage to put on and a few parts in the mail), it was stolen from my driveway.

Day before:

So after that unfortunate circumstance, I bought something no one would steal (but was still awesome for the winter). I was bitter toward the Honda scene for a while haha.

But I couldn't stay away from Honda. So I went and got this last week

I will get more pictures later when I get a wash and wax. I love the h22. No it is not an SH, but it has some nice mods to it.

Mod list:
DC Sports Lower Rear Tie Bar
Tokico Shocks
Ground Control Coilovers
17" Mazda 6 Wheels

Hey welcome to HCF, and sorry to hear about your Civic it sure was a beauty and of course many people just will do anything for cash, but so awesome to see a Prelude, and the H22 is a great engine and I think you need to boost her ASAP!

i feel like i should welcome you to the forum at this point too haha.

Yes i did love my civic... put a lot of work into that, and if the thief would have waited about a week, he would have gotten my carbon fiber hood, and a bunch of other goodies haha.

i am loving the stock 200 hp, and the dohc, vtec hits real hard. a turbo would sure be nice, but the h22 is an expensive motor to boost. the frm cylinder walls liner needs to be dealt with to install forged pistons, though I think there are some compatible forged pistons out there.

Well you lucked in their for sure not losing every possible part for the Civic man, and ya it is a tough engine to boost so what's in the future for the Prelude?

Welcome back. It's always heart-wrenching to see all your hard work end up like that in a junk yard...

well in case i do end up with a turbo on there in the future, i'm not looking to get any exhaust system (i like the stock sound anyway).

however I am looking into some aftermarket headlights, nothing ugly, just something nice... and fogs, lip kits, and possibly installing a black carpet. Mostly just some cosmetic stuff as I continue to pay off school haha.
