Hello All, i have a 1998 1.6ES model, i have just bought it and my steering is very heavy, it has power steering but i was wondering if this is normal with Civic's to have heavy steering. Is there any reason(s) why it feels very heavy?

Also, i would like to buy a new exhaust system and induction kit for it, any ideas?

Check the power steering fluid.

 

I checked the fluid, it is at the right level, any other reason why it might be very heavy

 

The steering on my civic is pretty hard, my steering rack is totally gone.
