I am looking at buying a 94 Honda civic ex. I wanted to give it a little more power but money is tight. I have a friend that is selling me a set of headers for 35$ so I thought I would get the rest of the exhost done. also I thought about getting a different intake maniflod and a air intake . I will be driving it alot so fuel economy is also what I am after. any suggestions

well if you can keep your foot out of it, then any air movement improvement you can make will help on the mpg's... when i installed my AEM long tube intake i gained some in the mpg's...but i cant keep my foot off the floor... so... oh well...i also have the chakara header, and it helped some too... its a 4-2-1.... i havent done the rest of the exaust so its pretty quiet.. well except the cold air intake.. it makes a nice deep throaty sound from about 3500 and up...

also reducing weight will make your car faster and get better mpg...keep in mind your factory exhaust and intake is rather heavy and an aftermarket set up for both will save you weight, make more power, AND get better fuel economy!

intake is your best bet, a header is good, then definitely catback exhaust. What are your future plans for this car? (turbo, swap, daily driver, etc.)
