Default Thinking about buying a civic...

but hell who isn't, right? I am an avid motorcycle rider I ride a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R 636. I haven't owned a car in years, but a very dear friend of mine recently died in a motorcycle accident so it was kind of a wake up call, like dude. You need to suck it up and buy a car. I won't drive it a lot, but just something for those long trips and rainy days. Stuff like that. So here I am. I was thinking of getting a 98-00 civic si because I don't care for the styling on 01-05 and the 06+'s are out of my price range. Anyway, I'm figured I join the forum to learn a little more about the car before I plunk down my money so...here I am.

Im with you man the 96-98 and 99-00 are great body styles...Do you plan on doing anything to the car, or will you leave it as is?

They didn't make a '98 Si. I love my 99 Si, though; I would recommend it to anyone. It's a fun little car.
