Traded in the 350z for a 2006 coupe
Due to financial problems I had to turn in the 2005 350z last night. I'm enjoying the Civic more than I thought I would. I know they are night and day different, but is there anything cheap I can do to enhance the suspension or acceleration (the 2 things I miss most)? I didn't get an SI because the dealer wanted more than NEW MSRP for a USED 2006 SI with 6k miles.

wow thats a big difference. well to get the power out of the civic that you had out of the 350z, you are going to have to add a supercharger or a turbo kit. for suspension i would do struts and shocks, no coilovers. maybe start with an exhaust

WELCOME! well if u want it to be even closer to the Z, u'll have to add a turbo or supercharger. which i dont even kno if there are any out yet for 06 models yet...shoulda gone with the SI because either a turbo or supercharger will cost the difference, tho it may add more power.

Thanks for the info. I'm really not looking for the same performance from the Civic (although I wouldn't throw it away if I had the chance). It was a tough decision but one I'm happy I made. I was running high 13s with the stock skinny 235 rears and spinning through third gear. Honestly, I miss the suspension the most. There is this long, swooping right hand turn I take to switch roads to/from work. I could take it at over 60 mph in the 350z. I gave it all she had today...I almost hit 41 mph. I promised my wife I wouldn't go "rice" (nor do I have the money for it), but I would love to have the Civic handle a little better. Is the K&N even worth it?
