2003 civic Si K20 with NOS / feedback please
hey guys! -nice to finally find a civic forum i like!
i am looking for some feedback on squeezing 50-75(wet) on the K20. This is for a friend of mine who wants more power(obviously).... i have squeezed numerous times with my B-series engines growing up and know quite a bit about nitrous already.... the only things i am concered with is the sensors in the intake system for this 2003 civic si..... i'm assuming those sensors may not like to see freezing cold temps, so i'm looking for the easiest ways around running into problems with them..... the car already had a hondata k/pro sysem installed so i can re program the ecu to accomodate the NOS(timing/ fuel).... and it has all the basic bolt on's.....
sorry for being impatient with the search feature.... i did search but wasn't really coming up withthe answeres i need now! this guy wants his kit installed asap. thanks alot for any input!

it'd be sick. however, you need new spark plugs, as well as not running over a 50 shot. i mean if your going to have the engine tuned as well as changing out a few things, you could rum more then a 50 shot. but i wouldnt suggest it. K20, sick motor. have fun!!!
i will definetly be running new spark plugs a few steps cooler, and most likely going with a 75 shot wet kit.... i know the stock internaly can handle it
No one here has a k20 swap. Anyone with one has it in a newer civic, and their mods are minimal. The motor will handle it with ease, as long as the tune is on par. Definetly wet thou, dry nitrous is dangerous.
doesn't necessary have to be a swap... just a 2003 civic si....with nos.
.... i thought more people would have some stories, no one uses nitrous anymore huh?[:@]

There are only a few people on this forum that use nitrous and they don't post much if at all anymore. Most of the memebers on this forum like boost over nitrous and n/a.
just drop a stick of dynamite in your car, pretty much same result over time.j/k, as long as you have correct components for it, should be straight, definitely wet, but overall, just boost it.
