Break in help!
Hey guys, well, i couldent stay away from the boost, so i just ordered my new JRSC for my teg. Here is my problem, when i rebuilt the motor in the civic and installed the turbo, i was able to break in the motor before i got it tuned just by not going into boost. But now with the supercharger automatically making boost, how do i break in the motor? I dont want to be pressurizing a newly built motor screw my whole build. Need you SC guys to step up and let me know what you did ( if you rebuilt the motor before installation.)
Im not 100% sure here but isnt tehre a way to turn that boost off? Like not hook up the belt or something? Again im no SC expert but if its belt driven and no belt is used wouldnt that work?
Also on a side note, how bout a pully that equals less boost? like instead of 7 psi 2-3 psi? again im no expert just shooting out some thoughts here.

hmmmm...not putting the belt on sounds actually like a legit idea. Any confirm this? Will air still flow properly through the compressor screws just like it would if it wasNA? If air still flows the same, thats a great idea and i will take that route.
people strap cars on dynos with freshly built motors with turbos and start tuning at like 7 psi. just a though. maybe head cylce the engine to get the rings somewhat set and i think you would be fine just driving the car around town just dong go above 20 percent throttle, just granny poke the sh*t out of it for the first couple hundred miles
