Default Considering Nitrous

Hey guys I'm considering putting a nitrous kit in my 06 civic LX, mostly because my uncle gave me 2 25lbs nitrous bottles. I'm having trouble deciding whether to get a dry kit or a wet kit. Would a dry kit suffice for my car? I don't plan on abusing it.

i had nitrous on my last civic. whats the rule? 50 shot or less, dry is ok? wet shot is def the way to go tho. that way u know u have the fuel to support it. when using a dry shot, ur ecu wont compensate for the nitrous and u run the risk of predetonation. if u detonate badly, bye bye piston. i dont know if ur car has a knock sensor to pull timing or not, so if u must use nitrous, use a wet shot (espescially if u dont plan on any ecu tuning).

zex. 10lb bottle, purge solenoid, and it had the little metering computer on the firewall that squirts nitrous and fuel.

50 to 75 shot. Some people run a 100shot on stock 4 cylinders but I don't suggust that if your new to it. Other than the basic kit I would suggust getting a bottle heater and a pressure gauge. 91+ octane fuel.

*50 shot doesn't usually require any timing adjustment
stock or 1 step colder spark plugs

*75 shot generally requires 2* less timing.
1 or 2 step colder spark plugs

Learn how to read your plugs and do it after the first couple times you spray and make adjustments to fuel delivery and timing as required.
