Default Engine Rebuild

Just got back from checkin my car out. I've decided to get my engine competely rebuilt. We're talkin gaskets, waterpump, oil pump, valve job, oem headgasket, arp headstuds and rodbolts, 8.5:1 vitaras, h-beams, block guard, milled head, everything. Gonna run on this crome tuneuntil i can save up for motor mounts, bigger injectors, and a tune.

who's going to tune the crome?

why are you going to mill the head? if you want to raise the compression just put higher compression pistons in it..

what injector and pump are you going with?

Default RE: Engine Rebuild

I ordered pistons and rods off ebay before i decided to do the complete rebuild. Great deal but they were selling 8.5:1 comp pistons with choice of bore. I bought them and chose std. Now i wish i went 10 over bore but it's too late in the game to send the pistons back and wait for the switch because i've been driving my mom's car for weeks and she needs it back. I have RC 440's, gonna get a walboro pump. The guys who initially installed the turbo chipped and tuned my ecu for 7lbs. Regardless of the negligence of those guys in other departments, the tune is running well. Gonna stay between there and 10lbs until i get performance motor mounts bigger injectors, and a great tune. Guess there's always next time to do it differently.
