Not every one knows as much as you do.
Some ppl is justlooking for basic information and that search and a bump could be here for some members.
You are the mod therefore you know better, right?
Price was never part of the FAQ I have no idea what you are talking about, some one asked about it and i said that it was deffinately more time than money.
I did a lot of the work myself don't just assumeI got it all done by a shop, I don't have a lot of the tools and machines to do it all here in home.
The block is sleeved however it is, it'sstill sleeved.
And the engine puts out a lot of power.
I'mjust providing my experiences and troublesI encountered with the build.
Idon't know why you have a problem with it.

By the way the afternarket world is not that wide for the D17 so is not so easy to build and information is good to have for some ppl.
Having the original engine on the car, all serial numbers maching and getting way more power than the typical easy to modify Honda engines like the B16 -18 and D16 makes for a unique and rare set up.

maybe this should be stickied as like "Turboing a D17: My Experience and Knowledge" because it does show to do something thats not every common, and it doenst say anywhere "Do this exaclty like me!", it could just be a guide so people know whats available and do their own thing from there

I added the link to my post in the D17 stickied thread. Thanks for the idea Flip.

I have NOTHING against your car, I just don't think you understand where I'm coming from. Our stickies are cluttered as is, there's a lot of not stickied info that I wish we could sticky, but this is a tech forum, it is meant for people to ask questions.

Also, the only thing in this thread that isn't covered in other stickies is building the engine. We have a forum directed toward engine work where that kind of thing would be more suitable.

Also, if you did a lot of the work yourself that's great... but you didn't say that you did, or how you did it. [&:]

Amazing machine you built there... now that you wish you would have just bought an S2000 or an NSX... you've taken the civic further than was ever intended for the majority of the people who can afford the civic. Beautiful job none the less, gorgeous ride, and for the record "I'm Jealous"

Good information, stickied wouldn't bother me, but its not useful information for me.
