Take a torch to an aluminum can and see what happens.

Yea, dont torch it, it will melt that aluminum like butter, it wont take much.

The thick rubber hose sounds reasonalbe to me. Its a short distance to cover, so I think a little hose would be okay. Plus itd be a lot less labor intensive than bending metal.

the propane torch sounds like a good idea. just dont get it too hot. ive melted aluminium cans in a campfire before. but thenagain they were like half a mm thick

just be careful if you do try and heat it up, because aluminum will just bubble thats what happened when they tryed welding on my hks flange just melted the sh*t out of it and destroyed that 40 dollar flange........they found another one that day and welded it on for me since they destroyed the last one that bubbled like hell....

everything is better and the install will be done today except for my custom downpipe thats tomorrow....

i actualy had to take my flange to a aluminum specialist because the piping took more heat to melt together than the flange which it just melted because it couldnt take the heat.....


hopefully it will be done tomorrow

I talked to the dude who sold it to me, and he said to disassemble it and put it back together with all the bolts on loose. Well, I did that, and it still doesn't line up, so I'm gona take the whole thing over to the exhaust shop and have them bend the pipe.

well at least the seller didnt ignore you when you asked. cant wait to see it boosted. you should be next in line for the gtech.
