Default H22A Forced Induction

I was wondering what the best turbo for a JDM H22A (motor is Non S type). I want to run about 8-12 psi safely. I probably wont ever go over 11 or 12 pounds, so I dont need a gaint a$$ turbo. I would prefer name brand stuff though. (Garret, GReddy)

Here are my goals for the car.

8-12 psi
Around 250 WHP
Not a lot of lag.

With these goals in mind I was thinking a mid-sized turbo would work pretty well. But you guys know better than me so feedback would be great.

have you looked into supercharging it? i have a D16Z6 thats running only 6 lbs of boost, with a few other mods and the last time i tuned it, i was making 213 WHP. the reason i mention it is you said you wanted to run boost safely, there is no lag, installation is much easier (in my opinion), and all of your goals would be met with 4K or less. your worst worry would be detonation, or running lean, which are both easily taken care of with timing controller and ecu reflash. its all up to you though, your goals would not be too hard to accomplish with that engine.
