Well this turbo will have to do for now, its sitting next to my engine in the garage waiting for you to help me put it in I guess its a good thing I got the head built so I can take advantage of the big turbo.

 

I say you will not hit full boost till 4000 to 4500rpm but it will come on hard and fast.

 

To tell the truth i don't know. like i said i bought the car already turboed and im still learning about them and how it all works and trouble shooting and stuff but its a little turbo. Im going to the shop today so ill look and see.

 

Find out if you are running the blue box or e-manage

 

I know my t3 spools at around 2800 and is at full spool by about 4000, but that is also probably becuase i have the infamimous 8 valve, hahahahahaha

 

emanage is pretty good........at least its tunable......blue box (what i have) is okay, but ya cant tune it.

 

depends on turbo, like someone said before psi dont mean jack. i had a d16z6 running 14psi on stock internals using a t25 dsm turbo. uberdata tuned by a friend. perfect air/fuels and it lasted roughly 6 months before it had a boost creep and it detonated. well thats what my husband told me...lol it blew on him so i cant really know the truth. damn men. it takes alot of patience to get everything right. its not cool to cut corners on things that matter. research and hope you get yours tuned correctly
