How many horses will a turbo kit pushing 8 psi add to the 1.6 vtec

 

depends.........a t25 @ 8lbs will flow less than a t4 @ 8lbs. what turbo kit, what turbo, what #'s? there are just too many things to consider.

To add from what these guys have said fuel and tune make a difference as do supporting mods like exhaust intake mani, fuel, air temp and density, altitude, and so on every car is different. You can look for huge # but dont be supprised when you get dissapointed because hp=$$$. most kits should raise you hp up about 100hp depending on set up, turbo and tune. Good luck. Turbos are deffenantly the best bang for the buck and bring the most hp for the buck. let us know on your ideas and how things work out.
