Im sorry man, but it sounds like you have no idea what you got yourself into. If your asking about octane, and the BOV not making a certain sound, im pretty sure you dont know what your doing. If you couldent afford proper engine managment, why did you put the kit on?? And that FMU is CRAP, get that thing out of there and tune it properly with a stand alone or chipped ECU. I hope you dont blow that thing up, just do the research you should have done before you got to this point

haha yeah thanks i appreciate it. i really do i hear it from everybody about the tuning so friday at 10 i gotta go IA. But i cant afford ****... i had some one break into my car and take my subs amp deck and a hat lol so im pretty pissed.

Very true, butat least that would notblow his motor, what he did slap on can andwill if he dosent get it tuned properly.

 

I'm going to have to agree with t34me. A turbocharger is not a n00b mod, and you really can't expect the engine to just take it up the intake and live to tell about it. Hell, even in Need for Speed you have to upgrade your engine and injectors and get it tuned in order for your mods to work.

My advice would be to pull of the turbocharger and replace it with the stock exhaust sytem. Then, start reading a lot about how a turbocharger works, what happens when it works, and how to make it work. Learn from the mistakes of other people, and learn what is good and not good. Just think about it, if you blow up your engine because you didn't know what you were doing, well you're going to be out a lot more than just a few bucks. Engines aren't cheap, and labor is even worse.

Honestly, take a week or so and just read as much as you can from those websites. You will understand what is going on, you will know how to fix problems that arise, and you will know how to tune and work your car correctly. It will take some work, but there's no reason that you should be in the dark about what is going on in your engine bay.
