Has anyone used this kit if so do you like it? Keep in mind that my engine is stock and so are the injectors what type of injectors should I buy and how much horsepower canI get safely from a stock motor. I know these question probaly have been answer in other froums, But no one seems to agree on what you need to buy and form were. This car is going to be a daily driver I am not looking to have a full blowned race car, I want enough power not to be a poser. 200 horse sounds good, what type of engine mangement is easiest to tune.Anyone that can help me thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you will need fuel management and new injectors. For managment, since yu're OBD1, you can tune your ECU using a tuning program such as Crome, Neptune, Uberdata, or for more advanced setups Hondata. For injectors, DSM injectors are quite common. You'll need the DSM injectors, a resisotr box, and all the injector's o-rings, then maybe some custom grinding down to fit the injectors into the intake manifold (probably, it differs it seems like). Just search for Civic DSM injector install DIY on Google and you'll find some good. As for the tuning, i'd highly recommend a professional to do it for you, either on a dyno or a street tune. Instead of just tuning the ECU there are options such as piggy-back systems or stand-alone systems. Piggybacks USUALLY just adjust the A/F ratio, which isnt all you need, and stand-alone is super expensive. So i highly recommend the socketing/chipping/tuning of your OBD1 ECU you have.
