Need a list of stock turboed cars!
I'm not exactly sure, I know on the DSMs they start to fall off at about 6,500 but that is at 14-15psi. I would say that you will not go much past 6-10 psi so i would tend to say it should go up into that range. let me find out and ill let you know back soon.
EDIT: It will boost to 7,500 at 10 psi no problem. I also have a distant buddy who runs 18 till 7,000 where he shifts due to shift light and he said it carries him there with out a dought.

Ok, good to know, I might still go with a T3 just for convience sake on getting an aftermarket manifold that will let me keep my a/c. But if that doesn't work out than I will have no problem falling back onto the 14b, thanks.
This is right about the T25 but sence he is doing the kit hiself he just as well get the larger turbo a 14b from the 1g cars it is capable of more boost and will drop off at that much higher of an rpm. The T25 is a great car but is only capable of about 14 maby 15psi and only about 13 reliably. I think the T3 is a wise decission but there are many decissions to be made there. If you get one off a stock turbo car they will not be any better than a 14b. you could look into getting one from saabs, audi's,volvos, VW's, porsche's, mitsues, subarus, and many old domestic cars. Ok, I have another question, I found a IHI turbo off of a 88' Ford Thunder Bird Turbo Coupe, it has a T3 flange and is a fairly good size, .48/.52 . However this turbo has the stock external waste gate on it that is set to like 9 or 10 lbs, and maybe even more if its the manuel tranny version. I only want to run like 7 psi. How would I be able to adjust the boost on this stock waste gate.
I dont know anything about what that wastgate looks like or how it functions. However im sure there is a way to change it by modifications. It may be easier to get an aftermarket wastgate.

are you lookin to spend any money at all? cuz evo 3's came with the best and largest 16g's and they will more than be what you would need, just finding a used one might be a lil hard but brand new they are 500 max
I'm lookin at spending around $200 max for the turbo, and all the junkyards around my house do not have any evo turbo's. I'm still waiting for the perfect T3 to show up in one of the junkyards. Like the ones off of the Ford SVO Mustangs or Ford Thunderbirds
