hahahahahaha post i shall even though im late.....retarded timing is highly recomended for the n20 newbie. i however dont pull timing very often, all depends on the fuel im running and the outside temps at the time of my run. nitrous is a tricky thing, low rpm spraying can damage your engine, although n20 doesnt help in the higher rpm. n20 is more of a TQ booster rahter than a hp booster. learn to shift sooner, learn to read plugs, learn how detonation feels/sounds. gapping the spark plugs can also have an effect how n20 will operate. there are a few nitrous learning websites out there. google is your best friends as im sure i wouldnt be able to answer all your questions.

edit-since your new to nitrous i highly recomend the zex nitrous kits. very user friendly and easy to install.

Im going with the ZEX 55 dry shot soon. The guys that's going to be tuning my car also recommends ZEX. You can get the whole kit with everything you need off of eBay for $450 shipped.

werd.....i recomend zex to almost everyone that asks. very easy to use, easy to install....they claim it to be safer but regardless of the activation system a poorly tuned engine will suffer from even the smallest shot.

Umm ... civicjuju. Don't run N20.. you are to new at engines... learn more about how engines work and how they work with N20.. then give it a try.. But i am sure you dont have a clue about air/fuel ratios, spark plug gaps or what they should look like.. and if you have the money to pay people to install it and tune it right.. then go for it... But you do it wrong.. you go BOOM.. and then you need a new D16Y8
