hey gsumano, when you installed that adaptor did it have gaskets on both sides? mine only has it on the engine side and it dumps oil out the side that the filter attaches onto, thinking i need to stick a gasket on the filter side also...

but yea, is yours2 sided? i didnt think i would need it because the filters themselves are gasketed

hey didder,
My only came with one gasket and it was for the side of the engine. It had a circle groove on the edge where it has a round gasket. The side for the filter has a smooth surface since the oil filters come with their own gasket.

I think all sandwich adaptors are one side because when I had my intake manifold off, I was able to see the surface where the oil filter attaches and it was smooth like the oil sandwich side.

you put yours on and it leak like crazy?

i was 2 quarts low after 30 miles and was like HOOOOOOOO SHEEEIT! had to stop at a small shop and make them throw me on the jack lol

sov said they should be gasketed on both sides to seal correctly, because mine is glossy smoothe not like an engine thats got a little notching in it, so i think the filter cant seal to it properly once pressure gets applied

i dk though, im just an idiot
