I was wondering is there any problem turbo charging a d16z6????

What do you all mean by "not if its done well." and "and maintaned well "???? Is it not a good engine to turbocharge???

its not that its bad theres just better ones out there to turbo

logically u can turbo ANY engine......just keep the boost low for daily driving. I would stay at about 6 PSI....thatll give u some good power and ull still have reliability. Just make sure u have a good budget. Doing it the right way will run you about 2500$. You will want to get an upgraded fuel system (Fuel rail, Stronger fuel pump, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator)....(new injectors wouldnt hurt either).......Definetly run an intercooler.......exhaust air is HOT HOT HOT......get good fuel Management,..........basically dont half *** it and ull be perfectly fine.

What kind of stuff will i need to make a custom turbo kit???? I wanna know EVERY LITTLE BIT OF PARTS that I'll need to have a fully completed kit.
