ok so i looked into tuning, and 500$ is mostly for tuning hondata. chrome, Hack, and other stuff. Can a tuner actually Tune my Emanage? Is that going to cost less?

Tuning an E-Manage isn't far off from a Hondata - they both come with a base map for you application and need to be refined for the setup you're running. Every car is different, so a base map is made to cover all cars that it may apply to so that you will be able to run it enough to get to a tuner. It will be extremely conservative and probably run rich with retarded timing. Tuning is the key to having a smooth running car without problems - running too rich can wash your cylinders down and ruin your piston rings, causing gas to contaminate your oil, etc... Nothing good can come from running a base map. Having it tuned is the only way, but you'll be safe to run it afterwards unless your tuner sucks.

Or take a couple days off work to do it yourself. Everyone enjoys a vacation. But if you really don't have the time or vacation days to do that then go ahead and have the shop install it if you really want.

Hooray! I win! You'll have fun installing it, plus afterwards you can shower yourself with the money you would have spent on getting it installed. And then pick the money up and have it tuned.
