Default supercharger?

Hey i have a b16 with stock internals in my 94 coupe, was just wondering if it would be possible to put a supercharger and run it on stock internals, or must i upgrade? Not looking to boost alot just enough to feel some difference.

you shouldnt have to upgrade the internals......but every says to go the turbo route because you can get better gains......Civics arent good with superchargers.....look at the top of the page there is a whole Comparision between the two by SOV.

a supercharger uses the little torque we already have to spin the turbine in the supercharger, while a turbo uses the waste exhaust gases to spin a turbine, which in turn is more effeciient. Thats all i have to say though, read this: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_281776/tm.htm

but if you have a mellow enoguh setup, yes you can run on stock internals
