another pro for he supercharger is the amount of heat involed and less heat = more power but thats why you buy a nice intercooler =) i would think a GSR, k20 or H22 probally would be the best engines to supercharge

 

Blowers make a good bit of heat, too

while the heat isn't nearly as much of a factor as it is with a turbo system, it is present. Not to mention that an intercooler isn't hard to put on a turbo'd car, and should be something someone includes when they put together their setup in the first place. Personally, I'd take an intercooled turbo setup over a roots-style blower where an intercooler would be impractical if not impossible. And centrifugal blowers are just lame
