+1 try changing your driving style for a day or 2 and youll see that most of your power will be on high rpms rather than low rpms
ORIGINAL: mxs

what's worse than having a 120hp engine.... never revving above 3500 RPM

Honestly I think you'd find your "problem" would solve itself if you got a manual trans and changed your driving style a little bit (i.e. actually using VTEC)

Not to change the subject but I recently changed all 4 tires to nitto neo gen (from 2 stock and 2 Wynstar Exocet) andput in a Valvoline fuelcleaner. Wow! what a difference!--- a lot smoother/quieter. The Tire size increase also helped the acceleration a little (from 205/40/16 to 205/45/16) Anyway, I occationallyreving it up to 4k- still out of my confort zonebut there's no doubt that's where theacceleration is. The more I thinkof this, the less I need a $2000 supercharger. I was actually looking at the $300 e-ram electric superchargerin a shop and it's nothing but a extra large hair dryer-not impressed.

^ Just rev it man, no need to worry about it. Your engine is good for 7500+ stock easily. It's a Honda, give it hell and it won't care.

Thats the best thing about hondas. They last, and if you beat the **** out of it, it will still last. Just make sure you do the routein stuff, like oil changes etc.

That video shows how much it takes to kill a stock engine with no power mods. They even put WATER in it as opposed to oil....and it KEPT GOING. Now just imagine you take care of your car....how long do you think it will last?>
