I still think I can build a safe and reliable turbo set up for my H22...This turbo has caught my eye for a while and I wanted to know what the experts (you!) thought about it.

it doesnt look like a real garrett turbo. it is a company called air research. im not sure on how good these turbos on so i couldnt help you. but i would stick to the name brands like greddy, turbonetics or garrett.

 

from what I understand...is that Airesearch and Garrett are the same. But if it's not then I won't buy it.

 

a turbo is a serious investment so just do your research before you go get one.

 

dont buy anything from spooled motorsports. my buddy bought one just like it had so much shaft play, and airsearch is garret

 

It's got the OEM part number on the auction page. Just look it up and do a little research on it.

 

garrett is the parent company for air research so=same thing as honda, acura-toyota, lexus, whatever. But for that kinda price, i would have to imagine somthing is wrong. Garrett is a great company that dosent come with that cheap of a price tag. Even my .42AR Air research was $400
