threw a rod!
it was'nt blown before i put the turbo on i just think that it was bound to blow and adding the turbo made this happen. a week before i put the turbo on i checked my oil and there was none on the dip stick and i think that driving it hard with little to none of oil that eventually things were going to go wrong and a little more pressure from the turbo made it happen.
yeah sounds more like a mechanical issue like no oil and oil pressure than the tune, it would be hard to screw that up with the power and compression your talking about. the tune is only as good as its mechanical parts.

wow, from working in a shop for 4 years now that builds tuner cars all day that just sounds like someone rushed things. i doubt it was a tune at all cause i tune and it wouldnt have anything to do with the oil. Why would you not look at or upgrade the internals at least? would have saved a lot of time/money but hey now look on the bright side time to go bigger and better. A word to the wise though oil is a good thing to have hahaha
Yup i agree could of saved a lot of time and money but now my long term goal is not being meant, by having a fully built engine fresh engine. learned my leason the hard way. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR OIL!!! haha thanks guys for all your input.
You only need to upgrade internals if you are going to make more power than the stock internals can handle. You can turbo most D-series engines up to 200WHP on stock internals and in some cases up to 250WHP with a REALLY GOOD tune.
