Hey guys,

Found this turbo on Ebay for $575, sounds like a good deal-I think. I know very little about turbos, can any one here that knows about them let me know if this will work well for me. I have a 1.6l vtec, D16zD. Does this kit include every thing I need, also I have a stock head, valves, pistons, will all that still be ok? Basically if I bolt this set up on will I be good?

Definetly gona need quite a bit more stuff to get that on your car and work properly.

 

Well can you tell me what stuff I'll need, but here's a list of what I'll have:

AEM V2 Cold Air Intake
Holley 68mm TB
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wires
MSD Blaster 2 Coil, and MSD Super Cap
AEM or OBX Fuel Rail
Venom 400 Performance Control Module
Slightly Bigger Fuel Injectors
Zigen Stainless Steel Cat Back Exhaust
AEM Cam Gear

What else am I missing, I know the intercooler, but Im not gonna be pushing more than like 5 pounds of boost. What else do I need, please help.

Your basic turbo setup includes the turbo, wastegate, turbo manifold, downpipe, intercooler, all necessary piping, BOV, oil lines, and hoses, hardware, connectors, etc.

I would also very highly reccomend having large injectors, high flow fuel filter, some type of engine management system, and of course you're gona need a boost gauge and A/F gauge.

Someone please jump in if you see something I've forgotten

What do you mean by engine management and A/F guage?

 

i think by engine management he means like an apexi unit or something to tweak your engines a/f and the little things like that. they are little but it will help a lot with the turbo..A/F = air fuel mixture/ratio

here is a link for some turbo kits that include pretty much everything u need to bolt it on and go..aside from tuning it
