tune after boost
ok ive got the cash for the turbo kit.........but i dont have the cash for a tune yet........after i install my kit (its got an FMU and everything...im only runnin 6lbs street)................will runnin untuned hurt my car? Or not? Im goin to get it tuned by a pro.....but i will wait to install the turbo if i will end up screwing someting up buy drivin it untuned.
did everything you have come together as a kit? If so then it should be set to run how it is... if you just bought random stuff and there are programmable parts then i'd recommend a tune.
BUT it basically call comes down to weather or not you are running lean. AS long as you arent running too lean then you will be fine at low boost levels.

yea i hear ya......its a full kit that came togther..........but after i install the kit i wanna get an intake mani too.........then some greddy exhaust......then ill tune it...........i dont wanna tune it and then add some more parts and have to tune again.......i wanna do it once..............but if im only running 6PSI will i NEED to tune it? im just concerned about whats best for the motor....like if the tunes not necessary i wont do it, cuz i will not run over 6psi
yeah, after the manifold and exhaust are installed you wont need a tune, but there will be some more power available that you wont be able to get to without a tune. It will be perfectly safe as long as the mods dont lean out your a/f ratio.

it comes with an OBX 10:1 FUEL MANAGEMENT UNIT (FMU)
A universal fit makes the FMU compatible with most cars. Brand new and still sealed in box. Standard 10:1 ratio Direct bolt-on without modification. Mounting bracket and hardware included.
Lifetime warranty from manufacturer defects.
is that good or should i also buy greddy emanange?
