ok i have a d15b7 and i was wondering if it would be safe to turbo it and what psi could i run on that motor ?

 

First of all do a compression test to make sure the engine is in good condition.

 

6-8 is safe but if your engine is still in good condition you can take it up a notch.

 

yea slap a turbo on it, just run the proper test first on your motor. if the motors not in good condition you may want to reconsider the turbo. Or just do a engine swap.

 

sorry i put it in the wrong section im new here, but ive heard that u can almost always boost 6 to 8 psi on a stock engine if its in good shape and my motor was just rebuilt and it only has about 14,000 miles on it so i think it should be good to go

 

if your motor has high miles i would throw a new head gasket and arp head studs on it good luck dude

 

yea thanks everyone im not sure if i even will ever turbo it but its just a thought my girlfriend is about to have a baby so i duaght ill be doin much to the car after the baby comes so im tring to do all i can b4 it gets here lol
