i suggest getting a new motor before you doing anything lol the d15 is not a performance motor at all your going to blow it even before you can get more then 200 hp. if your sticking to d-series motors try to get an si motor which is a d16a6 or any d-series v-tec motor until 04. if your gonna get a turbo yes the t2 is a good one because its good for low rpms and the t3/t4 is good for high rpms and top end. stick with the t2 less stress the perfomance you want and the any sohc can handle it.

runnin boost on a d series is just asking for a few blown gaskets. i highly recommend an engine swap before the turbo

btw...could we get a mod to move this?

You should buy my friends turbo. It's big enough that I can stick my hand in the inlet. Probably at least on par with a T91. No shaft play, spins freely. It's about 50 lbs and would take days to spool lol.

Meh, I've been making the Civic faster and looking for a daily driver. I think the everyday driveability of my car went out the door around 100 hp ago[sm=devilgrin.gif]

Actually, D-series can be underrated a lot... I've know a guy who ran a T25 @ 9 lbs and a 40 shot on a stock 4G Si motor (D16A6), every day without blowing it. He just did a clean rebuild first.

well the rebuild is the key isnt it? theres no way a sane person would go out to a junkyard and take a working D series, rip it out, put it in their car and put a turbo+nitrous on it...its just not sane.
