Okay.... 88 Civic DX. 277,XXX Km's..not sure if on a rebuilt or not. had this car for about 2 years now. got it from a friend of the family. im 17 years old. and i wanna make my car be able to keep up with my friends 89 Z24 Cavalier. Not sure what i should be doing to my car...one person suggested i put turbo but i was afraid my engine would not be able to handle it. i just got my license so it hasnt been driven much in the last 2 years. Pretty much i wanna know the General direction to go in with this car. Below is a picture of my Engine. and the Car itself.





Kinda new at all this stuff. so any help would be appreciated thanks

 

P.S. - It's a 5 speed Standard Transmission, his Cavi is an automatic.

 

Sorry man, that motor would blow in 5min boosted>[] Work on the motor, then think about boost.
