you could always find a wrecked vw with a diesel and ipirate everything and swap the diesel into your moms car, and custom that into a electric/ diesel hybrid and you would get a lot of torque with the diesel and even more with the electric motor. but that is just crazy talk

Reasons not to do it.

1. It's your moms car, wouldn't you rather spend that on yours because a turbo setup will cost the same to buy the parts be it for 2psi or 8psi.
2. Do you honestly think your mom will let you boost her car, I mean I may be wrong but if I called my mom and said hey I am coming over to boost your altima with a $2000 turbo setup she would laugh at me and say I'm stupid
3. There are far cheaper ways to get better mpg, make sure the tires are inflated properly, service the engine good, dont run the a/c.
it was just a thought. and if i told her i could safly get 70+ mpg on that thing she would problebly do it. but its mostly just a fun idea.

Lol, I wouldnt think a hybrid would have the power to even spool a turbo.

actually the lp gas would work, and it burns really clean. and they have a natural gas civic on the market so the conversion is feasable
