to get the claimed MPGs in those cars you have to drive like a grandma. really. if you drive it normally you will actually get less MPGs than a regular civic. and if you boost it, you will drive it harder...and only get stock base civics MPGs IF you get a good tune and are lucky.

im not sure, but i seem to remember reading that some of the hybrids have insane compression. like 13+:1 i see the alure of the idea, but i doubt it would work, and i doubt even more that it would be worth it.

The natural gas civics have to be filled up on some special high pressure gas. It would be pretty cool if i could run a gas line to my garage and fill my car up with natural gas.
