Default turbo reliabilty

If i were to run about 6 pounds of boost on a t3 turbo on my stock 96 civic ex about how much do you think it would shorten the life of my car. I know there are threads discussing similar topics, but i'm looking for yalls estimation of how much it would lower reliability if i were to maintain well. Thank you
