Turbo w/ stock internals
im looking at boosting my 98 HX in the near future and eventually beefing the internals. I already got a skunk 2 adjustable cam with adj. gears that should have the proper lobe and duartion for this turbo setup. The turbo is a complete kit from Procivic.com it is a T-25 turbo with intercooler and all essentials. Should the stock pistons, rods and crank be able to handle 7-10 psi, about 180 horse - 200 horse? Do u think the motor will still be a little reliable if i run the street at 5 psi and save the 10 psi for the weekends?
^ headstuds at the least, but its more about the power, not PSI. 200 hp is prolly safe, just get a good tune and you should be good for a while until you re-do the engine internally

Sweet deal, thanks for all of your help, when you say get a good tune, do you mean like the right size injectors and the right air/fuel ratio? So should i buy an E-Manage or something like that? In response to the guy with the 99 SI, you can get adjustable cams on www.procivic.com www.autopartswarehouse.com and there is a few others.
1) It's adjustable cam GEARS.
2) Why the heck are you boosting an D16Y5? If you're going to boost an SOHC at least boost the performance based ones. D16Z6/D16Y8, they're cheap and easy to swap.
3) Read the stickies.

yes, tuning meaning chipping a Honda OBD1 ECU, brining the car to a dyno/street tuner (preferably dyno) and having them fine tune the ECU to exactly how it needs to be. It deals with a/f ratio, timing, and prolly a few other things. You will need to upgrade your fuel system, usually injectors, maybe a fuel pump, sometimes a pressure regulator and fuel rail.
