Ok Heres the Deal. I Just bought a 1.6 DOHC ZC engine (non-vtec). Does anyone know the actually engine code for this. This way i can buy parts to build it. I think the code is D16a1 but im not to sure. I wanna be positive before i order a turbo or anything to make sure i have the right one.

 

There is no engine code for a ZC other than ZC. However, there are identical engines that were made EDM only that use the codes D16A8 and D16A9, so that would be what you'd cross-reference. If you're looking for a turbo kit, anything for an EG D-series will work.

Yes there is but dont get to happy as there is no aftermarket support for the head design

 

yeah you are gonna have to do a lot of custom internal parts.

 

Yea I think i might get rid of the engine and go with the b18b. More torque for the money and easier to find aftermarket parts.
