whats up with non intercooler turbo applications, ive seen a few of them, what are the pros and cons?

i think they run methanol or alcohol injection.

i don't think there are any pros to running a turbo without an intercooler. Most people that run turbos without a intercoolers are running at low boost level, however, is stillrecommend to run one.

they say that below 6 psi its not a necessity.

its a way to keep prices down, with a little fab work you can have an I/C for a pretty cheap price

reasonsto run IC: more power, more efficiency, cooler temperatures, improves engine life, looks cool (lol), etc.

some make and models that are factory turbo equipped do not use IC's because the boost is set way too low for it to affect anything, and the systems are designed for more efficiency eliminating the need for IC's, unlike just bolt on systems on hondas and acuras that aren't naturally turbo'd.
