I have heard from of lot of tuner buddies that the ZEX 105300 is an awesome cam. I am turboing my car in 2 weeks and I'm thinking about putting a cam in before I tune it. I will have stock valves, springs, and retainers for now. I was wondering if this is a dumb move to do now, or if it will enhance my performance. Any thoughts?

 

you don'tNEED an upgraded valve train for the new cam, but itsSTRONGLY RECOMMENDED especially if your rev over 7000 rpm often

 

does it say what stage cam it is? i think stage 2 you have to be looking at valvetrain upgrades.

I have a 59300 going into my project Z6.
