Default 99 Si Project pics

Here she is waitin in the driveway for the Built Ls/Vtec from the machine shop. Getting some preliminary work done and cleanin it up a little. Pics of the motor will be up sometime next week hopefully. Shaved and cut the valve cover and painted it today and got some new rubbers on the wheels. You can see how dirty it is in this first pic where the sun hits it haha

And all the junk Ive accumulated in the past few months. I always saw all those huge for sale posts and wondered how people got that much stuff now i know

After I'm done with this project I'm jonna rebuild one of those b18s throw some cams and a JRSC on it with a wet 50 shot and drop it in an eg hatch shell a friend has and eat up at the 1/8th mile drags next summer

It got hyrolocked with some muddy water CAI FTL. Blown piston rings and had a bent valve in cylinder 4.Insurance cut me a check for 3 grand which i have yet touch. Everything so far Ive paid for with my own cash. The LSv is at RCS engineering in pittsburgh right now getting machined, balanced, micropolished etc. I got some forged RS machines pr3 pistons to drop in and GSR cams. The b16a2 head is being rebuilt. Later this week hes gonna let me know if it the block needs honed at all if so I'm just gonna order some new pistons and bore it out to 84mm to make it a 2.0 L. I'm still trying to decide on how to tune it though. My first choice was a phearable.net chipped ecu wiht an obd1 conversion and just get a street tune but I'm still not set on that.
