I have two 12 inch kenwoods subs, a 900 watt fosgate amp and capacitator. (p.s. the windows are open)

Waay cool.. I have a single 12" MTX sub in there powered by an Alpine amp... it is only like 350 watts and it is really nice, but 900 would be absolutely crazy! What do you need a capacitor for? And how much did you put into your system?

 

well a capacitor helps the alternator out and gives the hard notes that extra punch they need.
I actually started out with another system, but built up to this one.
amp=$200(best buy)
wires for amp= $40 (ebay)
cap=$150 (around)
subs=$120 (buy one get one free best buy)
box= around $80 (can get it cheaper off ebay)
I can actually go louder (i had volume on 30 out of 55) but i have stock speakers right now so i dont want to pop them.
Oh another thing that is a must is get some bass blockers for your inside speakers (about $20 for two) it will definitively sound better than without them.

 

real nice, i got 2 12" and a cap with like a 250w RMS amp..i hit a 138 back at a audio comp, i always think about upgrading, but my bass is loud right now..what do i really need louder for? unless i go into some more comps..mabey i day
