roto is correct the a turbo does not use power to make power but a supercharger does it is a centripital supercharger and there is a roots style supercharger but what ever you call it it all adds up to force fed ponies geddyup

a centrifugal supercharger is exactly like a turbo because it compresses air. It is literally a turbo driven by a belt... literally. The twin-screw and roots style superchargers are more of a blower than a compressor. Basically it just forces air down the motors throat.

Yeah Superchargers "take power to make power" but turbos have their downsides as well. Im not getting in depth with it since there is an entire section devoted to this argument... but the fastest dragster in the world is supercharged, not turbo charged

it says in the title of the video that its a Paxton Novi 2000. which is a fairly small s/c. that mustang isnt that fast IMO.
