this is local for me. he got hit by a truck that apparently lost control (don't know how, it wasn't wet). the bunper of the truck hit his lower back at 70mph and i believe he flipped in midair and landed aabout 20 ft away. i don't know how he survived but he did. click it

 

that is terrible......but he shoulda been on the right side of the car u can NEVER be too careful as a trooper.

I have to comment again on this thread because I just remembered I had a conversation similar to this topic with a girl last night when I was hammered. We were talking about how immortal the human body tries to be. You say that cop should have died, which seems reasonable, but I mean let's look at some other instances where people should have died and the resiliance factor came into play.
1. Peoples parachutes not opening
2. People getting shot in the head
3. Cocaine overdoses
4. That guy who cut off his own arm!

Everyone gives computers credit for being so powerful and fast in their computations. Let's see a computer get hit by a car and live like this cop.

 

yeah i think the human body just has that will to live, and when it has that will its damn near impossible to die. it just seems that way after all these stories ive heard...

 

After I saw the video on the TV all I could say was Thank God the policeman was still alive...
