And how did that GTi catch fire?
well from the looks of the video... looks like he has a bunch of wires coming from the center of the dash and goes under the dash....
most likely... they didnt fuse the power wires or gromet the firewall hole.... which once it shorts out it just gets hoter and hoter and hoter and then ignites...

thats why most likely........

and thats why i tell everyone to PROPERLY fuse anything you add or even change!
its very minor and can save your car!!!!!!

what woulda saved his car is if he woulda hurried and pulled the battery cable off...... that woulda stoped the direct short and at least given the fire extengisher to have a chance at saving the car!

but most people never think about yanken the battery cable!
i saved my friends grand am from being fireballed by hurrying up and opening the hood and using a screw driver to pry loose the battery conection..... and then i hosed the engine bay down which put out the fire.... even tho the computer still needed abotu 1K BUCKS TO FIX THE COMPUTER DAMAGE..... BUT the car was saved and repairable

Damn the girl on the second video sounded terrified. I wonder how bad the car was after the wreck.
