Microsoft Vista
Mac could and would take over the Microsoft "Monopoly" if they lowered their dang prices. There's no reason that they can't lower them. I love Macs but because of that I have to stay with PCs.

Wow, that's how informed a Mac guy is about PCs? $700 system could run every single feature of Vista.
Intergrated graphic card? Lol. Are you talking about the $999 iMac?

Which means that $700 system can't run every feature of Vista from the getgo.
Compare that to the $599 MacMini, same integrated graphics, same CD-RW/DVD drive, less memory, smaller hard drive, but infinitely more capable.
1) It has a professional grade OS, including most of the fancy features of Vista
2) It has a better processor (Core Duo v Pentium D)
3) It requires less overhead on the system (Vista requires 512MB, OS X requires at least 256MB, Vista requires 15GB of free space, OS X requires 3GB of free space)
the $999 iMac, has same integrated graphics, same CD-RW/DVD drive, less memory, same hard drive
has the same differences as above, only includes 17" LCD monitor, and has pretty much 0 footprint, plus a built in webcam, as well as integrated bluetooth & wireless n
as for me being a mac guy, that hasn't always been the case, in fact, my first mac was a Core Duo MacBook Pro, which I got in May. Since then, I've seen 1 "blue screen", had no issues with adware, spyware, viruses or even being hacked.
in fact, I beta tested Vista RC2 on my old PC prior to selling my AMD x2 based machine, it was a resource hog then, and I'm sure it's a resource hog now.
weird, I have Vista Home and the 3D window roladex works. Thanks smart Mac guy I didn't know we were so dumb!! (If you didn't understand, there was some heavy sarcasm in there.)
primary features on a 700 dollar pc, ok. But i built mine myself, for about 800, and I certainly dont use an integrated graphics card, lol.I guess for the masses tho...they do use em at a 700 purchase price.
I have a Dell Inspiron E1505, Intel Core 2 Duo, 1.60GHz, 1022 MB Ram, Windows Vista Home Premium, 15.4" UltraSharp TrueLife Wide-screen, 256MB Ge Force 7300 Graphics card, 120GB, 24x Combo CD-RW/DVD, Built-in Wireless 802.11b/g, and last but not least a Carbon Fiber QuickSnap Cover for the Inspiron. Guess what I paid?!!?!!
Mr. Mac listen to this. I paid only $750 direct from Dell.

In order to run all of the fancy features of Vista, including the 3d window flip that is shown, requires Windows Aero, which is not enabled in Vista Home, and cannot be run with an integrated graphics accelerator. Both of which are primary features of those $700 computers.
Which means that $700 system can't run every feature of Vista from the getgo.

Spec of a $760 Dell PC: $1000 iMac
1.8Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo (you can get AMD dual core for a lot less) 1.8Ghz Intel Core Duo (No AMD)
Vista Home Premium (w Aero mind u) OSX
1GB of RAM 512MB RAM
160GB Hard drive 160GB HDD
Combo Drive Combo Drive
17" Monitor 17" Screen
256MB nVidia GFX card 64MB Intel Intergrated GFX chip
And of course you can upgrade those on PC for a lot less (2GB Ram costs $250 for a Mac to upgrade, $130 on PC).
(Vista requires 512MB, OS X requires at least 256MB, Vista requires 15GB of free space, OS X requires 3GB of free space)
This is coming from a guy who has recommended Mac to a lot of people. A lot of my friends actually bought a Mac but they're people who "fancy features" matter, play games like "Text Twister" and can afford a Mac. I'm not again Mac at all but those information you mentioned about PC are simply inaccurate
I payed $800.00 for my G5 with the creative Suites Package installed. iMovie, Indesign. Illustrator and Photoshop Cs2. Widgets came out for 10.3 and maybe actually earlier. And yep I can split my windows 5 million times or something. But i can see the whole window not an angle view.

There's tons of FREE apps out there that do Expose for Vista and even better like this

Expose for Vista:
http://lifehacker.com/software/expos...sta-235893.php
Check back for later version.

In addition, Flip 3D is a nice-to-have on Vista, you already have taskbar, alt-tab, and cascade, tile windows function. In OSX, how the heck u gonna switch windows without Expose? (cmd-tab only switches between apps, not actual windows)
