I just picked up a notebook with the new Vista on it. I must say I am VERY impressed with it. Microsoft has finally done theer homework right. Its scary smart software. Its also pretty much attack free. Anything alien is immediatly brought to attention by interupption of anything you are doing.

Other than some needed software updates, its mainly just a pretty new face. Regardless, I think this new version of Windows will give Apple a run for the money.

MS paint is prettier but they were smart to stay out of the photoshop battle.

 

I have Vista Home Premium. So far so good except the updates that are necessary from a bunch of software companies. I'm glad I got it.

I got it "free" with my new laptop.

 

just got a new desktop myself - vista program seems ok , just trying to buy a transfer cable off ebay to get all my music & pics off my old pc
its nice to plug in something & vista automatically finds the software

 

yeah, ive heard mixed reviews, but if you say it kicks ***, ill beleive ya, because i know noone else that has it
