"D15B1 is the worst"

Rep it! RDR, you're straight spoiled with that 92 hp! I gotta chill with the semis when I go over the Grapevine on I-5. The MPFI no doubt is your best bet for some power, otherwise, like everyone's saying, just put the money you would spend on "feel good" performance parts into savings for a new ride.

And can I ask the reason why you cut a figure eight hole in your upper timing belt cover?

The engine looks the same...

I believe the difference between the d15b1 and d15b2 is that the b1 has a different restrictor plate giving less airflow. The cam is also more aggressive in the b2. Last thing is the ECU has better fuel maps on the b2 from what I have read.

thats sweet thanks man so i guess the b2 isnt as sh*tty as everyone says and the valve covers are usually an army-ish green right from what i have seen. they are very familair and btw what is an injector plate? and i understand the dpfi more now inside the intake manifold are 2 injectors and there are 1 injector per 2 intake manifold holes 2-4 with the mpfi there are 1 per hole 4-4 am i right?

dpfi is 2 fuel injectors, same process as a carb. what ever cyl opens it sucks air and fuel in. the dpfi is 1 injector for idle and 1 injector for throttle.

mpfi has a injector at each cyl, when the ecu gets the signal that the valve is open it opens that certain injector to spray fuel into that specific cyl.
