Heh the only thing that was be funny to see would be a mitsu red top stuffed under the hood..... Am I the only one that see's that head and manifold set up looking exactly like a mitsu?!

 

That would be because the I4's in the tibby's are 4g64's pretty much(stroked n/a evo engine) and the V6 Tibby's have the V6 out of the 3rd gen GT's in it. The dohc head from the hyundai is actually swapped onto 3rd gen rs/gs eclipse's alot and the only thing that keeps them from being as good as a evo head other than the cams is the water flow system is not as good. Hyundai supplies, designs, and co-designs engine with alot more auto companies than people know.

 

I rented a Sonata once. It was pretty sweet. Gave me a new perspective on Hyundai.

 

Yea they are not too bad really if you take them for what they are worth and that is a fairly priced well equiped reliable car
