B16 Short Block For sale

The engine was pulled apart to check all internals, and cylinders. As you can clearly see the excellent condition of the bottom end. Block has been Checked for warpage, and is good. The Crank, and piston assembly is still in rotating working order with excellent movement. This is an excellent Project block. Give it a nice cleaning, and your good. Some rust has acrued do to the fact it has been separated from the head for a little. There is no ring on the inside lip of the cylinders, which means that only a cleaning hone is necessary. This is an excellent pickup to build a superb engine, or even sleeve for a built turbo engine. Engine has approximately 100k on it at time of removal. I do have all the bottom end pieces such as the windage plate and oil pickup. It does have the oil pan, and the water duct pipe on the back of the engine. They were removed just to inspect, and photograph the crank, rod assembly. This is an excellent opportunity.The Internal condition on this engine is excellent.
